Birth date : 4/23/1952 / i am getting $293 from social security ( finished 40 quarters). Now I couldn't work since I have very bad leg pain. From $ 293 I have to pay $134 for Medicare part B.
My question is will I get full benefit at age of 66 which I am going to be this April 23,2017. My only income source is social security & my wife makes under $20000 per year.
Not having your earnings record it is difficult to tell why you are receiving such a small amount. However, SSD pays you at the rate as if you were retired when you became disabled. So when you hit 66, your rate should not go up.
