So my boyfriend is in immigration hold the judge gave him the option to sign the deportation papers and to get married out there in Mexico but I'm trying to marry him here instead of out there in Mexico is there anything I can do ? Is it to late to get lawyer to fight for him to stay ? I need answers
First, it's never too late to get a lawyer, at least until he's on the other side of the border. But as this is an immigration question, so I'm going to change the practice area so you'll get a good response.
Responses are for general information purposes only, and are based on the extremely limited facts given. A consultation with an attorney experienced in the area of law(s) indicated in the question is highly recommended. Information and advice given here should not be relied upon for any final action or decision, as the information is limited by its nature to the question asked and the fact(s) presented in that question. THIS RESPONSE DOES NOT CREATE AN ATTORNEY/CLIENT RELATIONSHIP, particularly considering that the names of the parties are unknown.
There are too many variable to be able to answer fully. It depends on what stage his removal case is in, why he was placed in removal, how long has he been in the country, how did he enter the country? You need a full on legal consultation with an attorney. Feel free to call my office and set up a consultation. 702 433 7799
