So I signed bail for a “friend” alone with 3 other people and I’m to find out can I remove myself from it ?

If your friend was arrested on a new offense his bail is going to be revoked, if it hasn't already been. If the bond is revoked, no, you will be held responsible to do what you assured the bondman you would do ... pay the fee if "friend" does not, and pay the entire bond if the court revokes the bond and holds the sureties responsible. You can ask the bondsman if he will let you off if the bondsman has no monetary obligation remaining to pay the bond after the bond revocation hearing. You could get lucky. Good luck to you.
