In 2008 I got unemployment for 5 weeks I find out last week that I have an overpayment for unemployment they said they sent me a letter out in 2011 which I never got here it is 2018 and I'm just finding out about it how do I resolve this because it wasn't fraudulent any advice you could give me I'd appreciate it thank you
This happens often enough. I doubt they are accusing you of fraud. They will probably let you make payments if you call them.
I'm guessing they just want the money back and they're not interested in anything else. If you have concerns about allegations of fraud you could always have an employment law attorney contact them on your behalf.
