worked 8 yrs with a major CPG,, was let go after diagnosed with a disability and a 90 day PIP, not one of my accommodations were addressed by HR and boss after they said they would be. Was told, not written, they didn't think I could sustain the workload even though I was doing it. wages 100K, bonus 15K a yr, company car, gas, 10K in stock options lost. Should I pursue? What's the approx cost on my part to go through with this or is there any chance of contingency? If there was, I could forgo the immediate $25K they want me to take. Must sign yes by Jan 2 to get benefits of roughly $25 with 6K of the 25K being taxes as a bonus. Need to know quickly.
You should speak with an attorney -- You can utilize Avvo's find an attorney to find someone in your area to consult with. Many lawyers handle employment/severance cases on a contingency basis.
