I have questions about filling D160 form.
I went to USA in 2007 on H4 visa and my I485 had been filled over there and i went for ten finger print as well.
I moved to zambia in 2009 and settled in zambia since 2009. I checked online about my case last year and found out that my I485 had been approved in july 2011 and decision was mailed but i didnt get any mail because i moved to zambia.
while filling the form i came across one question " Has anyone filled an immigrant petition on your behalf with the United States Citizenship and immigration services?
(1) Is I485 an Immigrant pitition?
(2) Should i apply for visitor visa or any other visa?
An I-485 is based on an approved or pending immigrant visa petition. So it would seem someone filed an immigrant visa petition for you. The type of visa you apply for depends on the purpose of your trip.

Ther usually is some kind of an immigrant visa petition filed in support of an I-485. Perhaps it was on your spouse's behalf?
