Unfortunately, such cases don't work that way and you should not make plans otherwise. As such you will need to plan on finding the means to generate the money needed to retain a lawyer both to defend the allegations and to address any counter-claims against the person making them. The primary reason that no coherent lawyer will provide a "payment", other than those that might end up just skimming you for the money, is that this is code speak for "work for free because I need it" and any lawyer of any salt knows this. Why? Because you will rapidly be embroiled in a lawsuit that will be hotly contested, complex and expensive. If you can't pay legal fees properly now, you surely won't be doing so in the future, typically resulting in wasted unpaid time for even a well meaning lawyer, where they will end up withdrawing from the case leaving right back where you are in the middle of the mess or continuing forward for free losing tens of thousands of dollars you will never be able to afford but promise to pay nonetheless. Litigation cases require a great deal of practical planning and decision making and fanciful notions are a recipe for disaster. You may need to look to family or freinds or selling off assests to fund this issue.
