You can find lawyers at www.aila.org. You did not indicate what you are trying to do for this person.
The above is intended only as general information, and does not constitute legal advice. You must speak with an attorney to discuss your individual case.
The Avvo rules do not allow the lawyers to solicit your business so I suggest that you try using the Find A Lawyer tab on Avvo and make some calls.
I am a former federal and State prosecutor and have been handling criminal defense and personal injury cases for over 19 years. The above answer, and any follow up comments or emails, is for informational purposes only and not meant as legal advice.
Note that an illegal reentry after prior removal subjects one to the "lifetime" (inadmissibility) bar - meaning that individual has got to remain outside the USA for 10 years before being able to apply for whichever immigration benefit, let alone visa. There are no "exceptions" or waivers available.
If my answer is the "BEST ANSWER" and/or "HELPFUL" please mark it accordingly. Fluent in 7 languages. Certified Specialist in U.S. Immigration & Nationality Law, The State Bar of California, Board Of Legal Specialization. 23 years of successful immigration law experience. The answer above is only general in nature cannot be construed as legal advice, given that not enough facts are known. It is your responsibility to retain a lawyer to analyze the facts specific to your particular situation in order to give you specific advice. Specific answers will require cognizance of all pertinent facts about your case. Any answers offered on Avvo are of a general nature only, and are not meant to create an attorney-client relationship.
As another attorney correctly points out, attorneys on Avvo may not solicit your business. You should research attorneys in the local area and call their offices to inquire whether they have experience with reentry cases like your family member's. As you seem to realize they are a whole set of unique procedures and rules concerning these cases.
