Scheduled for Marriage Interview
We have a lawyer that helped us file I-130 and I-485 to apply for marriage based green card. We just found out we are now scheduled for interview however we don't want our lawyer to go to the interview with us, we are not sure how to tell our lawyer and what the officer might say when he doesn't see our lawyer with us during the interview?
What is the process like or is there any paper work that we have to do prior to going to the interview or do we just have to tell the officer that tour lawyer will not be coming? Do we have to provide any reason why?

If you have a lawyer, you should discuss your concerns with him/her.

If you have your lawyer for your filing process, it's better you have him or her accompany you to the interview. If you have any concerns why you don't want that, it's better to share that with your lawyer and he will find a way of working with you or addressing your concern or coach on what you will do when you get to the interview.
