I had the right away threw the intersection light and as I was coming threw I guess the intersection on my left light changed as I was already threw the intersection and a car T bone me & impact my car and i don’t remember telling the cops anything about a unsaved vehicle and now but I probably didn’t ramble that out of blacking out and slamming on my breaks after the impact but I got the tickets for unsave vehicle how can I fight this with my injuries & that ticket? Or was I ever in any kind of wrong of the 51 percent
You should contact a local attorney to go over all the details of the accident with you. Even if you had an unsafe vehicle, the negligence of the other driver would be a key question.
As for your ticket, contact an attorney in your area who specializes in traffic court citations. Also, let your insurance carrier fight with the other party's insurance carrier regarding liability. This is the very reason you pay insurance premiums. Let your insurance company earn its keep.
As for your injury, your best bet to obtain the maximum injury settlement amount in this case is to consult immediately with an attorney in your area to obtain a more specific answer and get all of your legal options before deciding what to do and then also complete all medical treatment necessary for any injuries you received. The attorney will also investigate all available coverages to ensure you have the maximum amount of coverages available to you. You may have some coverages on your own auto policy that can assist you. You can use the "Find a Lawyer" link at the top of this page for names of attorneys in your area (for both your citation issue and your personal injury issue). Most personal injury attorneys offer a free consultation and work on a contingency fee basis, so you won’t have to pay anything up front.
Please do not message me for further advice. If you are in need of an attorney to assist you, please search for another attorney in the jurisdiction involved in your case, as I am now retired, and my former law firm is no longer handling these types of cases. I am active on AVVO and answer questions only as a public service at this point.
