My PERM was filed in Sep 2011. In Dec 2011 my attorney sent me the ETA 9089 form and asked me to sign it and send it back. I dont know what is the reason for this. He stated that because initially we filed electronically, now DOL is asking to sign and send the ETA form again. He also stated that this is not an audit as well as not approval as well. I really dont know what is the current status of my PERM.
Can someone kindly explain what could be the reason for this signature on a uncertified ETA 9089 form?
Thank you in advance
It is hard to say, don't you trust your attorney? Without knowing all the facts of the case, it is hard for me or anyone to second guess an attorney who has all of the facts

I agree with my colleague. You really should speak with your attorney on this issue. Good luck.

I agree with my colleagues that this is a question for your attorney. If you do not feel comfortable with your attorney, consult with and hire an attorney you have confidence in.

I agree you should ask your attorney bot DOL sometimes asks for hard copies that are signed. So it is not abnormal. Just find out why.
