We signed a 12 month lease on the house we are in starting November 1st. The landlord has stated she is putting the house on the market and wants us to allow prospective buyers the ability to view the house. Can she sell the house with us still in it? What options do we have? Can she sell it and make us move?
It depends on what your lease says.
You need to hire an attorney for, at least, an initial consultation to read your lease and give you an opinion.
Answering this question does NOT create an attorney-client relationship between me and you; and this answer is just a general answer, which may not fully apply to your situation, as I do not have all of the relevant facts. DO NOT RELY ON THIS ANSWER. HIRE A LAWYER TO HELP YOU.
I agree with the other answer. Generally speaking, yes, you can sell a lease with you in it. The sale is subject to the you retaining possession. This is actually pretty common in the commercial setting. An attorney will want to review all your documents and consult with you. Good luck.
