At what point in a negative review that uses the "F" word against a particular server does it become defamation of character. Other statements read...stay away from this server, name mentioned, at all costs.
Defamation is not the same as profanity. Proof of damages in defamation is very difficult (and expensive to prove). I respectfully suggest that you review the terms and conditions of Yelp and request the review be review for violation of those Terms and Conditions. Whether Yelp will comply is a different issue.
The above is general legal and business analysis. It is not "legal advise" but analysis, and different lawyers may analyse this matter differently, especially if there are additional facts not reflected in the question. I am not your attorney until retained by a written retainer agreement signed by both of us. I am only licensed in California. See also avvo.com terms and conditions item 9, incorporated as if it was reprinted here.
Defamation, especially with reviews, is extremely hard to prove. Contact Yelp about dealing with this.
This post makes no sense. Use of the "F" word is not defamatory.
