I would like to know if there is any conflict of interest.
First I know I am not suppose to date during a divorce, but this has been going on for two years. Here is my question. My soon to be ex spouse's lawyer is the lawyer of the guy I am seeing, ex wife. When they were divorcing, it was nasty, she put an order of protection on him that was later willingly revoked. I should say his ex is also willing to write a character reference.
The lawyer is now using this against me and is stating that our son is in imminent danger.
Can a lawyer use a case she previously represented against me?
