I am planning to apply for my visa status conversion from H4 to F1 (already into college from 6 months). But the I-94 number I have received on my latest H4 approval notice has a Typographical Error. A service request to USCIS has been raised by my spouse's employer for the correction but I am yet to receive the corrected document.
Please advice if I should submit the form for visa status conversion without delay and whether I should enter the latest I-94 number in the I-539 form or the previous I-94 number that I have been given since my last entry.
You file I539 with the correct number and explain all of that in a cover letter.

It's not too uncommon for there to be typos on USCIS issued documents. Go ahead and submit and take Alexander's advice - simply explain it.
