I have a county attorney trying to coherse alleged victim and also lied to create 2 warrents as I am out on bond. I need a Iowa lawyer really bad. I cant find one that wants to deal with this county due to how corrupt it is. I've been told this. What can I do? Who can help in iowa?
Criminal law has its own statutes, and rules of procedure. Those lawyers who do civil law are often not versed sufficiently in these matters. It is essential in any criminal matter that a criminal defense lawyer be retained to deal with the government and its lawyers.
This question is being directed to the criminal defense section of this service.

If you need an attorney to assist you, please search in your local area, or click the "Find a Lawyer" link at the top of the page. I am active on AVVO and answer questions only as a public service. Unless we have both signed a formal retainer agreement you are not my client, and my discussion of issues does not constitute legal advice.
You can't find an attorney who wants to deal with that county? That's ridiculous. Look harder, and don't rely on street speak and rumors.
DISCLAIMER: PLEASE do not message me asking follow ups to your question! That's what the forum "comment" feature is for. I am not your attorney here, and I cannot give you legal advice here. Okay, friend, if you can't find an attorney who will deal with...any Iowa county, really...it's not because of corruption, it's likely because you haven't actually tried. Dealing with "corruption" is still billable hours for lawyers...emotionally rewarding billable hours, even, which plenty of attorneys will find more appealing than billable hours spent drafting arraignments and repetitive motions. If someone has actually told you that no one wants to deal with a particular county because of "corruption," they're full of it and you need other advice.
Next step is, as you seem to know, to find an attorney. If there are warrants out for your arrest, you'll want an attorney to discuss self-surrender options with you, because self-surrender > getting yourself arrested at a 7-Eleven or a traffic light, and to review possible arguments to present to the court about the legitimacy of the warrants at issue. Avvo is a good resource for finding Pocahontas Co. attorneys, and if you pay an adequate retainer up front, I suspect plenty of attorneys outside of Pocahontas Co. will be willing to represent you.
Sort your finances, look for attorneys who are familiar with whatever crime you're out on bond for, and schedule a consultation or four. You're in a stressful situation, but if you take this step by step, you can handle it.
