Code enforcement showed up 14 months later to abate my property after notice was given to clean up we cleaned up and tried to comply but when calling and leaving a couple messages never heard back that it was closed out the day they showed up he told us he never got message we asked for warrant told us he didn't have to give me nothing and bullied me with sheriff's department by telling me if I tried to stop them I was going to jail
Lawyers want to answer questions accurately and fully.
However, when the question is written in a single run on sentence instead of individual sentences beginning with a capital letter and ending with a punctuation mark, I cannot be sure I understood it completely.
When written in a run on sentence there are those thing called misplaced modifiers and dangling participles we were taught about in school which make the inquiry unclear
If I were you then I would A) listen to the Sheriff (right, wrong or otherwise the Sheriff is going to do what s/he wants and if that means arresting you then you will be stuck with the mess) and B) hire a lawyer and let a skilled and trained professional call the Sheriff out on any impropriety and battle Code Enforcement.
Wishing you good judgment, luck and hoping that I have been helpful in answering your question.

Mr Kollin is correct in the idea that we really don't have enough detail to give a good answer. However, living in Polk County, I think what is going on here is that code enforcement has been on you about coming into complaince on somthing. You really need to sit down with an attorney who handles code enforcement issues to see what is really going on here. They will frequently "bully" with threats of Grady coming to pick you up, but without the actual details of what is going on both in your code enfrocement case as well as what is going on in these interactions with code enforcement I would not be able to give more detailed advice. Meet with a local attorney in Lake Wales to see what options to have.
