I was added on my sister's telephone bill family plan, which included her daughter. I was living with her in 2017 and she agreed to address any phone issues with her daughter. I was paying for all three of us. Her daughter told her mom she was going to buy a $1000 dog. My sister and I agreed it was not appropriate while I was paying on the bill. She refused to address her daughter since she can buy the dog then reimbursed me for the bills I paid. We got in a kerfuffle, slapped her husband, and had to move out. Can I sue for the phone bill and moving expenses?
Where do you want to sue for expenses? She can counter sue for rent. Is it Worth the Effort?
My answer is for general informational purposes only and is not a substitute for a personal consultation with a local attorney with full case details.
