My ex girlfriend got a pfa on me because she said that I was sending threatening texts to her and her fiancé. The problem is I haven’t had any contact with her since March of 2017. Someone I don’t know who is spoofing numbers to get at her. I now live with my fiancé and this has put a serious burden on me and my loved one. What can I do to prove my innocence? I’m scared to leave the house because I don’t know who is doing this or why?
You need to hire an attorney to represent you at the hearing. In the meantime you can assist your attorney with your defense in gathering evidence from your wireless carrier that these texts did not originate from you.
