OPT EXT is denied & H1 is in Pending(RFE)
My STEM OPT EXT is denied on Aug 13th 2016 and also my OPT is expired on July 5th 2016, But my H1 is picked and received an RFE(we submitted the doc's, waiting for the status).
Right now I am on cap-gap, it will expire on Sept 30th 2016.
Regarding OPT EXT - The letter is stating that the denial is because of 17month I-20 instead of 24month I-20 & suggesting to apply for motion (I-290B).
1. If I apply that How soon I can get the response ?
2. Can I apply for new OPT EXT ?
3. Can I work after cap-gap (any grace period) ?
4. Is there any other option in my case ?
Please help me with your valuable suggestions.
Thanks in Advance.

These question are too specific for the Avoo platforn and you should run to see an expperience immigration lawyer and pay him for consultation. You may consider appealing the OPT EXT, and not work during the pending I-290B.
