Normally they don't get arrested even if they are criminally charged.

These types of cases almost always take more than a year. Many times nothing at all happens.

I agree with the other two answers. These cases take longer than a year and even if there are criminal monetary penalties, usually no "time" will be done unless high dollars are involved or the crimes involve other serious federal offenses like money laundering or drug trafficking, etc.
