I have a H1b issued between Oct/2010 to Jun/2012, I traveled on it and came back to my home country. I am wishing to do higher studies in US now for 2 years say from Jan 2013 to Dec 2014, planning to visit on F1 visa. Is my H1b valid after that, i.e whether I will be considered under H1B cap-exempt for the remaining years.
I just want to make sure whether the old H1B cap would help if I didn't get into the 20,000 H1B Masters' degrees exempt or extended OPT. Could you please help.
You will be cap-exempt.
