If there is a pension benefit after your Dad's passing and you are the designated beneficiary on the pension forms.
If you are the executor of his Will of the personal representative of his estate, you may want to contact the company that is administering the pension.
A POA terminates automatically upon death. Now you will need to look to a will, if applicable, to determine who will handle the affairs of his estate. Pensions and any life insurance benefits will be determined by specific instructions left with the company providing those benefits. You will need to contact them directly.
