Not sure what happened so I might have posted this question twice if I did I am sorry. My question does a company have to have consistency in the way they ask senior managers to sign non compete. for example I am a Director level manager or product I been with the company 3 years a few month ago I was promoted and was told my promotion was contingent to me signing a non-compete. The Director of Sales was promoted to Vice President of Sales is promotion was not contingent on him signing a non compete. It seems odd the VP of sales has pricing, customer list, strategy, discounts, etc. he can cause serious harm to the company they do not force to sign a non compete yet I just buy and introduce product and I am ?
I believe I answered this one yesterday but it depends on what the language of the non-compete agreement is. Take your non compete agreement to an employment law attorney for a consultation!
