I was arrested after an argument with my spouse. I was fortunate enough that I had cash on my person enough to cover my bail. I was verbally told that I couldn't have contact with my spouse and children but after close review of my bail contract there is no mention of this as being a condition of my bail. Do I go by what the officer said or by the conditions of bail that are in writing and signed by me?
The bond conditions that the judge orders is what you should pay attention to.
