my mother passed on 4/17/15 she was found in a burn pit we was used to burn a dead dog in earlier that same day. i noticed her missing around 6 pm and was unable to find her at friends or neighbers houses . i called to report her missing about 9:30 pm when the 2 officers got here around 10:30 we walked the yard and i and the officers both looked in the pit and did not see her, she was found about an hr later when i went to go from my home to her home ( we live on same 2 acres so i could take care of her she was 75 with rods in her back and bad hips) i found her foot in my garage from one of our dogs dragging it there is only way i know it showed up there. since this has happen my wife and I both have done anything they asked to help with the case even taken polys( i passed and they trying to say my wife failed but she is even more unable to walk than my mother was she has bad hips and knees as well as i was with my wife during the 30 min time frame from last seen my mother to when we figed out she was missing ). it took them a yr to finish the firemarshall and the M.E. report and the officer on the case only does something when i force her by email/call for updates.
It is imperative that you and your wife schedule a consultation with a criminal defense attorney. Most offer free consultations.
My comments are not intended to establish an attorney-client relationship, are not confidential, and are not intended to constitute legal advice. Proper legal advice can only be given by an attorney who agrees to represent you, who reviews the facts of your specific case, who does not have a conflict of interest preventing the representation, and who is licensed to practice in the appropriate jurisdiction where the legal issue may be filed or in the state where the law applies
I'm confused. Are they saying she was murdered? If so, you need to hire a lawyer for you and your wife.
This answer is provided as a public service and as a general response to a general question, it is not meant, and should not be relied upon as specific legal advice, nor does it create an attorney-client relationship. Your communications with me are not protected by the attorney-client privilege since they are on a public forum and I have not agreed or even offered to be your attorney. No attorney client relationship exists or is intended to exist until I specifically state that a conversation is privileged. You may not agree with my answer and you may not agree with how I answer your question. I know that my bedside manner can be very abrasive to some people. However, if you decide to send me a personal e-mail to call me names or tell me where to shove things or tell me that I need to go back to law school because my answer doesn't comport with your google search, I reserve the right to publicize your message in any way I choose.
