I am the biological father of my daughter who is living in Honolulu with a single foster mother. I live and work in San Diego, I have been trying through court to gain custody of her for the past 3 years. I Complied with every request they have given me, skyping, therapy, visits to Hawaii, CASA and foster mother are very close and are all working against me to get the foster mother to adopt or become my child's legal guardian. Foster mother has hired a lawyer and I have a court appointed lawyer who doesn't seem to have much say in it all. Please Help.
Hire your own lawyer in Hawaii. The proper jurisdiction is in Hawaii and if you are unhappy with your free lawyer you need to get one you approve of to handle your case.
The system of foster care is horrible and you are at the will of the women who run it. hire a good family law attorney and allow them to go through the process with you
