I am currently eligible for early filling N400.
I have been permanent resident for 4 years and 9 months.
However, I am confused about part 2 on N400.
Since I have only been permanent resident for 4 years and 9 months, should I check the first box "I have been permanent resident for 5 years?"
or check "Others" and state that I am early filling?
Yes, you would check the 5 year box - it's to let them know which section of law you are applying under. As long as you will have the 5 years by the time you sign again during your interview you should be fine.

Yes, check 5 years ... that's how long it will be by the time you have your interview.
