My wife and I are moving to Seattle through her employer. She thus has L1 and I have L2 visas. I understand that I will be able to find "open market" employment with a SSN, which may require a EAD. Here is my question: I am a confisseur (I make chocolate) and work for myself, i.e. I run my own business. I would like to continue doing so in Seattle. Am I allowed to do so on a L2 with SSN and EAD? I appreciate that my question is very specific, thank you in advance for your reply!
You have an interesting profession and you can be self employed if you receive the employment authorization document ( EAD) from USCIS. The best of luck with your chosen career.
