My wife and I bought a piece of land, We agreed she owns 90% of it and I own 10%. Do we need a separate agreement since The deed is in both our names but it does not reflect the ownership percentage. Can we have an attorney prepare a document that we will notarize which reflects this ownership percentage? If yes, Will that suffice and be legally binding??
