He sent them to everyone to ruin me to get back at me for finding out what he is really is. He's an extremely dangerous vindictive narcissist/sociopath, & when he got me extremely angry & I did/or said things because of it, he was secretly videotaping me. He has sent the recordings to turn everyone against me, all neighbors, relatives, even the Domestic Violence Center where I was a client because of HIS abuse, even DVR when I was getting training to get a job, now ruined. Someone found out where I tried to go to a church, (after I made ex finally leave) & all of a sudden THEY act the same way now too as all the others who were all turned against me. Isn't it a crime if a gov't agency receives illegally obtained stuff, & then treats me in a discriminatory manner, but w/o telling me why?
It's unclear if any crime has been committed. Sit down with your divorce attorney to discuss all the facts and details and then you can get a better idea of whether or not you have any actionable issue.
NOT LEGAL ADVICE. FOR EDUCATION AND INFORMATION ONLY. DO NOT RELY ON ANY ADVICE YOU RECEIVE FROM ME OR ANY OTHER ATTORNEY IN THIS FORUM. Legal advice comes after a complete review of the facts and relevant documents and an expressed (written) agreement of representation that forms attorney-client confidentiality. Neither of these two events can occur in this forum. Mr. Rafter is licensed to practice in the Commonwealth of Virginia and the US Federal Courts in Virginia. His answers to any Avvo question are rooted in general legal principles--NOT your specific state laws. There is no implied or actual attorney-client relationship arising from this education exchange. You should speak with an attorney licensed in your state, to whom you have provided all the facts before you take steps that may impact your legal rights. Mr. Rafter is under no obligation to answer subsequent emails or phone calls related to this or any other matter.
Depending on the circumstances, he may have violated several laws. Do you have a divorce attorney? If so, I would start with him or her. If not, I would start by communicating with the police and/or a local attorney.
I am licensed in Pennsylvania. Members of my firm are licensed in various states, including Pennsylvania, New Jersey and New York. We handle cases involving personal injury (car accidents slip and falls, etc.,) medical malpractice, nursing home abuse, workers' compensation, social security disability and legal malpractice. Nothing I write on Avvo is legal advice, but instead contains general educational information. Please do not act or refrain from acting based upon what you read in anything I write on Avvo without retaining your own lawyer in your state. Also please remember that this post does not form an attorney/client relationship between you and me. If you have specific legal questions, you should contact an attorney in your state for assistance.
