My son turns 18 soon but has Autism so will continue on the extended high school program . Do I need to still pay child support
Also my ex. Husband is seeking full Guardianship when my son turns 18
Is there joint Guardianship like joint custody ?

You can file under the Texas Family Code for rights regarding your son past 18. Child support extends through high school past age 18 if the child is fully enrolled. Child support also can be extended indefinitely if the child is unable to live independently of a parent or caregiver. The parties also can litigate rights and duties under the Texas Estates Code in a guardianship proceeding.
