Try to keep your son away from your father. If your father has legal capacity to do so, ask him whether he would like to sign a Durable Power of Attorney giving you, not your son, power over his finances. Report the emotional and financial abuse to Adult Protective Services -- and tell your son that this is now a 1st degree felony in the State of Texas.

Please don't let this abuse continue. You can make an anonymous report to APS. See https://www.dfps.state.tx.us/Training/APS_Reporting/reporting_how.asp.
Exchange of information through Avvo's Questions forum does not establish an attorney-client relationship with me. That relationship is established only by individual consultation and execution of a written agreement for legal services. My Avvo posts are based on limited information provided and are not intended as conclusive legal advice.
