I was gave a date to be in court and the court date was a different day.
Speak with your lawyer as to what happened. Your lawyer should know exactly what happened and what the court did with your case. I wish you the best.
When a defendant does not appear in court on the date designated for court, the judge might proceed to make rulings in the defendant's absence.
It now is time for you right away to obtain advice and assistance of a qualified lawyer, and to know and meet any necessary deadlines for seeking an appeal or reconsideration of what happened in court in your absence.
All the best to you.
