Trying to protect my mother from eviction on her record, she hasn't lived with me in yrs. Case already entered judgment, 2 days earlier than my deadline which is a separate issue I'm working on. Ty in advance.
If a default judgment was entered against your mother, she can file a motion to set aside the default and default judgment, probably on grounds of improper service of process (e.g. if she was never personally served, and was supposedly substitute served at an address which was improper).
You would not have legal standing to do this on your mother's behalf unless you are a licensed Cal. attorney.
Our Rating is calculated using information the lawyer has included on their profile in addition to the information we collect from state bar associations and other organizations that license legal professionals.
