My mother passed away feb 22,2017.I had Paradise funeral home to pick her up on the 22nd.I went to the funeral home on Feb23,2017 to discuss the price. On that day my dad called me and said let's have Eternal Rest pick her up they do a good job for a not so expensive cost.On feb23,2017 I signed paperwork for Eternal Rest to pick my mother up from Paradise.Mr.Weatherall the owner of Eternal Rest called Frankie Washington the owner of Paradise while i was there and said that he was on his way to pick up my mother Patricia Newhouse Harris.Frankie Washington wouldn't release her until a certain day.Mr.Weatherall picked my mother up and noticed that she was embalmed and had a lot of bruises on her body that wasn't suppose to be there.I also have pictures from Mr.Weatherall when he picked her up.He had to take pictures of her before removing her body from Paradise funeral home which is located in Dallas tx 3910 S. Lancaster Rd 75216
It may seem unreasonable that your mother's body was embalmed while the family was, unbeknownst to the embalmer, considering using another funeral home. But bodies deteriorate rapidly. If there was no room in the freezer, embalming may have been the only way to keep the body intact.
