I applied for a green card through marriage. my case is still in processes and I received the first work permit, it was expired and I got a second work permit and it expired about 4 days ago and I have not received the 3rd one yet. Can I work while I am waiting?
Assuming that your work authorization (recently expired) and your new work authorization are both based on your marriage (c09), and you applied for the renewal prior to the expiration of the old one, you are granted an automatic 180-day extension on your work authorization.
