During my pregnancy I had to go into the hospital twice urgently for observation due to bleeding. Since it was a pregnancy issue I was not seen at the ER instead I was taken to maternity triage where your doctor or the doctor on call comes and evaluates the situation. I was treated and then sent home. Unfortunatley, the bill submitted to my insurance was for regular outpatient visits since I was never admitted. The hospital is out of network for regular outpatient services therefore my insurance doesnt want to cover the bills. The issue is that they were not regular outpatient visits they were for emergent care. I have disputed the claim twice with my insurance and they are not budging. Is there anything else I can do?
