-he left 4 years ago and cut complete communication with me
-I received divorce papers 2 years ago
- I continue to receive incomplete information from his attorney
- he was legally remarried aug 18 2018
- I just found this information out yesterday
He wasn't "legally" remarried last year unless you and he were divorced. If you have a question about your divorce I suggest you do at least one of the following: Write a letter to the court where your divorce was filed (all you have to do is look at the papers you were served with) and ask them for a copy of the Decree of Divorce; OR Write a letter to your husband's attorney and ask him about the status of your case; OR hire a lawyer and have that lawyer find out what has happened.
In the United States you cannot remarry if you are already and currently married to someone else---No polygamy is allowed.
What specific divorce papers did you receive? Check with the court where those divorce papers were filed and determine the status of your divorce; you may be able to access the case online. The fact that he remarried has no effect on you,
