My husband just got his green card but in 2005 he gave an alias name to the police. With the immigration process we told them about his arrest with the alias name and he was still a prove. We want to get his ID or Driver License but we are not sure what to do. if we tell them that he already had an ID with the alias name, We can not erase his alias name because every time he renew his green card they will ask him to sent his court disposition with the alias name. I forgot to mention that he got fingerprinted with his alias name
This is not a family law question. Your husband should consult with an immigration attorney to understand the legal consequences of this issue.
I am not sure what the question is. I believe it asks about getting a drivers license, if so just go down and apply with the correct info. Don't tell them about alias unless asked. It seems immigration didn't have a problem, neither should DPS. The rule with law enforcement is just give them the info they request. Don't volunteer info.
