If you and your spouse agree on the relevant terms, you can have an attorney prepare your uncontested divorce as well as a marital settlement agreement for less than a thousand dollars. An uncontested divorce should generally not cost thousands of dollars.

You can try to do it yourself by using the forms on the court's website, however, I would not recommend it. Those forms do not give you any real guidance and the pitfalls are many and significant. You can be signing away very significant rights.
