No you will have 6 months to redeem..after the auction. So you essentially have 6 months to move (and then some if the new "owner" does not move to evict you)

No. Most states (including Michigan) have what's called a "redemption period," which follows the sheriff's sale. In most cases, the redemption period is six months, but it could be different, depending on the particular circumstances of your case. I don't practice in Michigan, but I would think that the redemption period length is stated on the notices given to you in the foreclosure process. If you can't find it, a foreclosing law firm will usually let you know if you call and ask.
When the redemption period expires, you are required to move out or you will run the risk of facing an eviction. An eviction can buy you more time, but it also will continue to hurt your credit and is more hassle.
Again, I'm not a Michigan attorney, but I would be surprised if the lender or purchaser at the sheriff's sale could lock you out without consequence. In Minnesota, both statutes and case law make such "forcible eviction" illegal and subject the evicting party to damages.
Even after the statutory period runs, which may or may not be six months depending on a number of factors, the purchaser at the sheriff's sale has to seek to evict you and this will take several days as well depending on how busy the docket is that month. So you still have time to make an orderly move or to actually seek help defending against the foreclosure. Additionally, you may qualify for a bankruptcy stay and be able to push off the sale for a few days. Seek help from an attorney if you want to fight your foreclosure.
