He has been trying to kill the sentence for years he was on parole an they violated him. Then when he went up for parole again he was given a server out. Then released on mandatory supervision because he only had 6 months to serve out. He failed a drug test and went back to jail yesterday . Will he be given another chance or not?
It's tough to say whether he'll be released back to MRS but I'd lean towards "no." It sounds like he went back to jail for a violation of MRS (the dirty drug test). If he asks for a parole hearing, he can also request a lawyer to conduct the hearing and ask for leniency on his behalf. If the officer and administrative judge grant leniency, he has a shot at getting released. At the hearing, if they don't grant him leniency they will likely find probable cause that he violated his MRS and then its much more likely he finishes out his time.
