He says my fiancee knocked off his bumper but there is no damage to my vehicle. The other person was parked behind my vehicle on my side and my fiancee was trying to get out. In order for us my fiancee would have had to be going at least 30 miles an hr backwards. Originally he was trying to get a 150 from us and he waited a week after the accident to come back asking for money.
Tell your fiancee not to try to negotiate with someone who obviously is not looking out for your fiancee's best interests.
Have your fiancee report the accident to his insurance company and let the professionals handle this. They will send out an experienced estimator to do the true estimate to the other person's vehicle and settle the claim. That is why your fiancee pays insurance premiums!
My guess is that your fiancé did not notify his insurance company.
Tell the other side to provide you with invoice for the actual repair
If there was insurance, let them handle it. If not, you can either pay or wait to get sued.
