After being with my daughter for 20 months my ex has told me that she is not mine and that she told the real dad. This is my first daughter and I’m filling for primary custody because her mother can not provide for her nor really try’s she lost custody of her 4 yr old and let her 9 yr live with her dad only has her 10 yr old with her because dad left her. because she was not able to provide for her has no where to stay but in a 2 bedroom apt with 3 adults 3 kids. I was paying for apt 2 cars and bills. She got fired from 3 jobs in one year. I did go back to my parents which house hold would now be my parents my daughter and me. I’m a 4 bedroom house. Only reason I’m fighting is because she was not feeding my daughter correctly and keeps leaving her bottles dirty and poring milk over that. My daughter loves me as I always gave her my all she is my first daughter. Can I lose her?
Hire an attorney. Yes as in every lawsuit it is possible you could win, it’s possible you could lose. Top on your lawyer’s list of things to do will be to address paternity through a DNA test, and also your legal standing to sue if you are not the biological father.
Accepting cases in Dallas, Denton, Collin and Tarrant Counties. THIS IS GENERAL ADVICE AND DOES NOT REPLACE A PERSONAL CONSULTATION WITH AN ATTORNEY AND DOES NOT ESTABLISH AN ATTORNEY/CLIENT RELATIONSHIP
