My ex fiancé went to jail last year after he physically abused me and I asked for a temporarily restraining order. I didn't pursue a permanent one because he's in the military and I moved out of state. We got back together a year later and he assaulted me again and I called the police. He told me "An eye for an eye" and gave false testimony to the police. He filed a TDVRO to get a move out order on me to evict me improperly. I filed my own because he still continued to call and harrass me. He refused to give me my personal possessions with police escort despite a court order pending the hearing. He claims he's not going through w his permanent order but I am as he has damaged my property and won't give me my dog which is granted to me. If his is denied, will I be allowed in the home again?
At this point, you need to collect evidence and not believe anything your ex fiance tells you. If there is a court date, show up. Just because your ex fiance says he is not going to proceed, show up-- he may be lying to you. Collect your phone records, take pictures, get witness statements.
As for the home, you didnt provide enough information. Do you both own the home? Contact a local attorney to help you.
