Because of no financial support for years I requested ex boyfriend to leave my home. We have a 4 year old daughter After no child support for 5 months I filed. He was ordered to pay. But now is asking for 50/50 placement with no child support. He works nights, moved 40 miles away and never cared for a child. Court ordered 50/50 custody with placement every weekend for him. I want primary custody. He would not budge in mediation. So now advanced to guardian lien. I paid the assigned $450 two months ago but he is not going to pay his portion. I don’t know what the next step is.
I work at a child care facility and can not afford to pay his half. He works in a factory
If a court order was entered that you each pay 1/2 the GAL deposit, and they refuse to pay their one half share, file a contempt motion with the court.
The Guardian ad Litem will address the deposit issue. The court will order him to pay. If he refuses, the court will either find him in contempt or dismiss his motion.
