I'm fighting workman's comp and have been injured 2 times on left arm my claim was expected and my jobs insurance carrier was out of net work I didn't agree with their doctors on returning to work so I got another opinion dr. Now I've been released back to work with the lowest work restrictions possible and my job told me to call them first thing in the morning before I come up there......question is what could this mean for me
The thing is, you don't know what this means. So, call them and see. But just because you have been returned back to work with the "lowest possible restrictions" doesn't mean you HAVE to go back to work. If you are on restricted duties, your employer has to abide by your restrictions. I encourage you to contact a board-certified workers compensation lawyer and get more information.
Now that you have talked to the employer, you may have additional questions. In the meantime, here's a short video link about disability in workers' compensation cases: https://youtu.be/X7kEA-Jz-c4
