I was pulled over in Nebraska and was arrested for driving under the influence. I’m currently enrolled in the diversion program and my dui is pending. My license is suspended in Nebraska but when I check my status in South Dakota it says that my license is valid. So I want to know if it’s only suspended in Nebraska or not.
What state issued you the license? If South Dakota issued the license and there was not a conviction (you said you were doing a diversion program), they may not take any action at all. If you area actually convicted of the DUI in Nebraska and South Dakota issued your license, then Nebraska would notify Pierre of the conviction, then Pierre will notify you by mail at the address on your DL of the revocation.
If Nebraska issued you the license, go by what they are telling you. A suspension in Nebraska, though, would probably mean a suspension in every state, even if South Dakota is mistakenly telling you they think you're valid.
