My checks have been garnished since 2010 on a vehicle repo and a small credit card and I'm pretty sure I paid him in full and was wondering if there's any way I could get this stopped and how to go about it?
It sounds like your should call and ask them? You can ask them for an itemized payment history.
You may want to pull up your case information on Missouri's electronic court records (CaseNet). This should include the garnishment details. Otherwise, you could go directly to the court and ask to review the file on your case.
